There is now a seat guarantee on the express boats. From 1 February 2026, a seat guarantee will apply on express boats throughout Troms county. Show your companion’s card and ticket during boarding.Read more about companions Travel guarantee and refunds Travel guaranteeFor travel guarantee on express boats, the following rules apply: If the departure is cancelled owing to unforeseen events (force majeure), the ticket will be automatically cancelled and you will receive a refund.If the departure is cancelled owing to crew shortages or technical failure, the ticket will be automatically cancelled.Refunds owing to weather, crew shortages and technical failuresIn the event of cancellation owing to weather, crew shortages or technical failure, the following rules apply: You do not need to apply for a refund. You will automatically receive a refund.Refund in the event of a replacement bus serviceIf the express boat is cancelled and you choose a replacement bus service as alternative transport, the following rules apply: You need to buy a bus ticket for the section of the route you are travelling.
