Bank cards you can use on the bus

You can pay by bank card on the bus, but not all cards work with the ticket validator on board.

✅ These cards are accepted

You can pay with:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard

The card will be marked with BankAxept and either Visa or Mastercard. It must also be enabled for contactless payments and support payments without an internet connection.

❌ These cards are not accepted

You cannot pay with:

  • cards that only have BankAxept
  • Visa Electron
  • municipal payment cards and other cards that do not support payments without an internet connection

Why are some bank cards not accepted?

The payment terminals on the buses do not connect to the bank to authorise the payment. This means your bank card must support payments without an internet connection, also known as offline payments.

Cards that require the bank to authorise each payment cannot be used.
