Buy tickets on board
- You can pay by card on all buses in Tromsø, Harstad, South Troms, and on regional and local bus services.
- We are currently installing new card readers on buses in North Troms and Midt-Troms.
Visa and Mastercard are accepted on board.
👉 Please note: We do not accept Visa Electron or cards issued by other card providers. Visa Electron cards always require online authorisation from the issuing bank before a payment can be completed. The card terminals on board our buses cannot perform this online verification.
To guarantee a seat, you must purchase your ticket before departure.
If seats are still available, you can buy a ticket on board using a bank card.

- On buses, travel vouchers can only be used by pre-approved travel agencies and agents.
- Travel vouchers with a non-Norwegian billing address are not accepted.
- On express passenger boats, travel vouchers may only be used by primary and upper secondary schools.
From 1 February 2026, cash payments are no longer accepted on board our buses and express passenger boats.
