New summer prices on the ferries

From 15th of June to 27th of September

From Monday 15th of June Troms County Municipality will introduce a trial for a new passenger ticketing system on route 180 Andenes – Gryllefjord ferry route. The trial period will run throughout the operating season, until 27th of September.

In April, the Committee of public transport in Troms County Municipality decided that all adult passengers must pay for travel across Andfjord.

Who needs to buy a ticket?

All adult passengers must have a valid ticket, including foot passengers, cyclists and passengers travelling in vehicles. The driver of the vehicle is included in the payment made through AutoPASS or FerryPay.

  • The ticket costs NOK 100 for adults.
  • Children and senior/concession passengers travel free of charge.

How to buy a ticket

You can buy tickets:

  • in the Svipper app
  • in the Entur app
  • on Entur.no
  • at the ticket office on board

The ticket sale starts 15th of June.

AutoPASS and FerryPay still apply

Vehicles are paid for as usual through AutoPASS or FerryPay. This also includes the ticket for the driver of the vehicle.

All other passengers must purchase their own ticket.

No seat guarantee

Please note that the ticket does not guarantee a seat on board. You do not need to purchase your ticket until you are on the ferry.

Increased summer fare for vehicles

From 20th of June to 31st of August, the fare for vehicles on ferry route 181 Brensholmen – Botnhamn will increase from NOK 228 to NOK 247. Payment is made as usual through AutoPASS or FerryPay.

After six completed crossings between 1st of June and 31st of August, the vehicle fare will return to NOK 228, but only for vehicles with an active AutoPASS or FerryPay agreement.
