Single ticket off-peak: NOK 30 (only applies in Tromsø.) The ticket is valid on weekdays from 09:00-14:00 and 17:00-01:00

The senior discount is for

• people from the age of 67
• people with concessionary travel card

The senior discount is not valid for spouses/partners that are accompanying someone with a senior ticket.

Family discount weekend

Adults (age 18+) may be accompanied by up to four children (age 6-17) for free within one zone on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Children under six always travel free when accompanied by an adult.

Youth TOTAL

Youth (age 16-19) can travel as much as they wish by bus and express boat throughout Troms County for 30 days.

Prices apply from 1 February 2026

If you have a valid Youth Total ticket, you must also reserve a seat on board. You will find the reservation button directly on your ticket in the Svipper app. There, you can reserve a seat on the departure you are travelling with, at no extra cost.

The Summer ticket

The Summer Ticket is valid for seven days from the time of activation. Travel as much as you wish by bus and express boat throughout Troms County. Only available in June, July and August.

More than 10 people?

If a group of more than 10 people are planning to travel together, please contact us in advance so we can access if it is necessary to arrange an extra bus. Please notify 48 hours (weekdays) or 72 hours (weekends) before the journey will take place.

Children (age 0-5)

Children under age six travel free. Adults travelling with the kindergarten pupils (under age six) pay the normal fare for the journey.

No seat guarantee

As there is no seat guarantee on the buses, larger groups must expect to be spread over several departures. 

Special group Barn Ung (age 6-17)

If you are travelling with a group of children, you can receive a discount of up to 60% based on the adult fare.  Schools, volunteer organisations and sports clubs can use Special group Barn Ung for journeys with children/youth aged 6-17.

• Must be a minimum of 10 people travelling
• Adults pay the same fare as the children
• Does not apply if using a travel coupon

Pay on board

The Special Group Barn Ung fare is only available for purchase on board the bus.

The leader of the group contacts the driver when boarding to arrange payment by Visa or Mastercard, or with a travelcard. Notify the driver how many are travelling and request the Special group Barn Ung fare.

Bikes on buses

You can buy a child ticket for your bike in the Svipper app. We do not currently have a separate bike ticket in the app.

• You can bring a bike on the bus if there is enough space.
• Regular bikes, electric bikes, scooters and electric scooters are allowed.
• The driver decides whether there is enough space on board.
• Buses are not designed to accommodate bikes for larger groups.

Rules for children’s bikes and scooters

• Small children’s bikes, such as balance bikes or bikes with very small wheels, can be brought on board free of charge.
• Larger children’s bikes are treated as regular bikes and require a child ticket.
• Electric scooters and regular scooters are also treated as bikes and require a child ticket, with one exception: If the scooter is foldable and carried under your arm, you can bring it on board free of charge.

Combined train-bus ticket “Togbuss”

You can buy a through ticket in the EnTur app or from SJ Nordcombining the regional bus route Tromsø-Narvik (Svipper), regional bus route 100 Narvik-Fauske (Reis Nordland) and the train from Fauske to Trondheim.

Airport Express Bus
