Refund rules

Visit your nearest contact centre with

• valid ID
• the receipt from your last purchase
• your travelcard

Tickets

• Single ticket: Activated tickets are non-refundable
• 24-hour ticket: Activated tickets are non-refundable
• 7-day ticket: Activated tickets are non-refundable
• 30-day ticket: Activated tickets are non-refundable
• 90-day ticket: Fully unused 30-day periods are refundable

We calculate the refund from the day we receive the ticket. We don’t refund the travelcard, only the ticket you have on the card.

Did you buy the wrong ticket?

On board?

If you buy the wrong ticket on board, please notify us as soon as possible. The driver or crew can correct the error manually if no sales have been made on the ticket machine in the meantime.

Wrong ticket?

If you accidentally buy a ticket that you will not use, you can send a claim via our contact form or visit your nearest contact centre

Please note that we don’t refund single tickets unless you can show us that you bought a new ticket, or we see that the ticket could not be used (e.g. if it was bought at night etc.).

Are you moving or wish to end your customer relationship?

Refund if you are moving from Troms County

If you are moving away from Troms County and wish to end your customer relationship, we will refund the pay-as-you-go credit in your travelcard. In such cases, you must present your travelcard, valid ID and the receipt from the last time you topped up your credit.

Transfers to overseas bank accounts

In the event of transfers to overseas bank accounts, a fee of NOK 100 applies.

Refund of period tickets

• Unused period tickets are refundable.
• Activated 90-day period tickets: only fully unused 30-day periods will be refunded, and then at 1/3 of the total purchase price per remaining unused 30-day period
• Activated 30-day period tickets, or tickets of a shorter duration, will not be refunded unless you present a medical certificate.

Sick leave?

Period tickets can be refunded if you are on full sick leave for eight days or more. Refunds are calculated from the first day of the sick leave, providing you have not travelled during the sick leave period. A copy of the medical certificate must be presented. sick note must be presented. You can use our contact form or visit your nearest contact centre.

Is your travelcard not working?

Visit your nearest contact center. In the event of a technical error in the travel card, you will receive a new card for free. If the card is broken or has other damage, we will transfer the data from the old card to a new card for NOK 50.

Lost your travelcard?

If you have lost your travelcard, we can refund your balance if you have the receipt. Contact your nearest contact centre. We charge a fee of NOK 50 to process the refund. If we transfer the balance from the old card to a new card, the new card costs NOK 50.

Other circumstances

We can also refund tickets in other circumstances, e.g. if you no longer need your travelcard or in the event of death. If you are in doubt, please call us and we will help you.

You have a 14-day cancellation period if you have topped up your travelcard via the webshop and have not used the product or credit. The balance will be refunded free of charge to the means of payment you last used. In such cases, the travelcard will be terminated. You must present the receipt and valid ID. You can use our contact form or visit your nearest contact centre. We need the card to terminate it or refund a period ticket.
