The real-time map provides users with an overview of public transport services, bus stops, and travel routes in Troms County. No information that can identify individuals is collected. However, it is important to note that certain data is stored in the browser to personalize and improve the user experience.

Local Storage in the Browser
To provide a fast and personalized user experience, certain data is stored locally in the browser. This makes it possible to remember settings, avoid unnecessary data downloads, and offer more efficient journey planning. This data is stored only on the user's device and is not shared with others.
The following types of information may be stored locally
- Version control: The current version of the map, to ensure compatibility when updates occur.
- Map state: Zoom level and map center position.
- Line data: Available lines, selected lines, and the time of the last update.
- Settings: User preferences that affect display and functionality.
- Stops: Stops displayed on the map are stored for up to 24 hours. Searches for stops are stored permanently.
- Journey information: Selected journeys are stored temporarily for 30 minutes.
- Vehicle metadata: Metadata about vehicles is stored (Note: This is not intended to be stored permanently — will be corrected).
- Journey planning: Selected departure and destination stops, time mode (departure/arrival), journey suggestions, and navigation steps.
This information can be deleted at any time using the browser's settings.
